Question 1

Is Zehut “wasting” right-wing votes?

Accepted Answer

No. Votes are wasted when people vote for "the Right" and get more of the same failing policies that brought us to this point. Zehut is not here to reinforce the failed paradigm — it is here to replace it.

Question 2

Is Zehut too extreme?

Accepted Answer

Extreme is living with the next massacre as a legitimate possibility. Extreme is turning an entire generation of young people who serve their country into mortgage slaves. The truth sounds extreme only when the lie becomes the norm.

Question 3

The Temple? Isn’t that a messianic delusion?

Accepted Answer

Zehut does not want religious coercion. We want to stop running away from our national identity. When a nation does not know who it is — it does not know how to defend itself.

Question 4

It's a beautiful vision — but how will you do it in practice?

Accepted Answer

We’re not inventing anything new. We’re reviving the ancient vision of the People of Israel. Once that vision is clearly established, we’ll remove the barriers the state currently places in our way. Today, the state is an obstacle to free choice in education, housing, and the economy, as well as to the proper enforcement of sovereignty throughout the land. When we return power to the people, the whole system will transform itself.

Question 5

What if you fail to pass the threshold as you failed in the past?

Accepted Answer

Thanks to our many years of activity, Israel now has a movement with a mature vision and a comprehensive platform. The question is not whether we will fail again, but whether the People of Israel can afford to continue on the path that led to the crisis — without identity, without sovereignty, and without strength.

Question 6

What is Zehut's economic approach?

Accepted Answer

Zehut supports a free-market economy and reducing government intervention. Instead of more budgets and increased centralization, Zehut believes Israel should dramatically cut taxes and regulations in order to increase competition, lower the cost of living and return money and power to the people.

Question 7

How does Zehut propose to lower the cost of living?

Accepted Answer

By opening markets to competition, removing import barriers and monopolies, and cutting the bureaucracy that drives up prices for goods and services. When the state stops “protecting” monopolies, prices go down.

Question 8

What is Zehut's solution to the housing crisis for young couples?

Accepted Answer

Free up land from the government monopoly and shortening planning and construction procedures. Instead of more subsidies that inflate the cost of housing, increasing the supply of land and the speed of construction will bring prices down.

Question 9

How does Zehut view self-employed people and small businesses?

Accepted Answer

The self-employed fuel the nation's economic growth. Zehut wants to dramatically ease their burden — lower taxes, fewer forms, less regulation — to make it easy to open and run a business in Israel.

Question 10

What is Zehut's position on the tax burden?

Accepted Answer

Israel's tax burden is too high and hurts the middle class and young people the most. Zehut supports broad tax cuts, based on the belief that money in the hands of the citizen works far better than money in the hands of a bureaucrat.

Question 11

What is Zehut's security doctrine?

Accepted Answer

Victory — not "managing rounds." Instead of a reactive policy that only invites the next round of violence, Zehut insists that Israel must strive for clear decisive victory and genuine deterrence, rooted in full Jewish sovereignty over the Land of Israel.

Question 12

What is Zehut's position on sovereignty?

Accepted Answer

Zehut advocates full Jewish sovereignty over the Land of Israel as a core principle — not as a bargaining chip. Israel's identity and security depend on the nation's clear ownership of its land.

Question 13

What is Zehut's position on the citizen's right to bear arms?

Accepted Answer

Zehut supports expanding the right of law-abiding citizens to carry weapons for self-defense. A responsible armed citizenry is a cornerstone of personal security, especially in times of danger.

Question 14

How does Zehut view soldiers and reservists?

Accepted Answer

Soldiers and reservists deserve full recognition and rights for the burden they bear. Zehut will fight to remove the bureaucratic injustice they face after their service and ensure they receive the respect and support they truly deserve.

Question 15

Is it suicidal to give up American aid?

Accepted Answer

Our goal is gradual weaning and independence. True friendship exists between equals. Dependence is not an alliance — it is submission of one party to the dictates of the other.

Question 16

What does Zehut want to fix in how Israel is governed?

Accepted Answer

We want to return the power the government has appropriated to the citizen to whom it rightfully belongs. Zehut supports a true separation of powers, a constitution, and decentralization — so that the government serves the people and not the other way around.

Question 17

Why does the government seem unable to get things done, and what's the solution?

Accepted Answer

Over-centralization and suffocating bureaucracy prevent anything's getting done. The solution is to decentralize, strengthen local government, and make the system accountable and transparent to the citizen.

Question 18

What is Zehut's position on a constitution and the separation of powers?

Accepted Answer

Zehut supports a constitution that protects individual liberty and defines clear limits to government power, along with a true separation of powers that prevents any single body from becoming too powerful.

Question 19

What does "Returning the Country to the People" really mean?

Accepted Answer

It means that the citizen is the true sovereign, not the bureaucracy. Through decentralization, transparency, and accountability, the state becomes the servant of its citizens — not their master.

Question 20

Won't this harm democracy?

Accepted Answer

Right now, Israeli democracy has been hijacked by an unelected judicial system that repeatedly overrides the will of the people. We will return power to the people's elected representatives, and restore the judicial system to its proper role — judging according to the law, not running the country.

Question 21

What is Zehut's approach to education?

Accepted Answer

Freedom of choice. Zehut believes parents — not the Ministry of Education — should choose the education their children receive. We will break the government monopoly and fund the student, not the system.

Question 22

What is an education voucher? What does “funding the student” mean?

Accepted Answer

It means that the government funds allocated for each child’s education follow that child to the school their parents choose – instead of being locked into a single system. This creates competition between schools which improves the quality of education for everyone.

Question 23

Why does Zehut want to end the Ministry of Education's monopoly?

Accepted Answer

Because monopolies reduce quality and restrict freedom. When parents can choose, schools compete to provide a better education — and the child, not the system, comes first.

Question 24

What does Zehut offer parents?

Accepted Answer

Real authority: the right to choose their children’s educational path, values, and framework – backed by public funding that respects their choice.

Question 25

How does school choice connect to Zehut's core principles?

Accepted Answer

It is a direct expression of our principles of liberty and identity — the citizen is responsible for his own life and for his children's education, while the state enables this choice rather than imposing its will.

Question 26

What about the Arab citizens of Israel?

Accepted Answer

The rules will be clear: anyone who accepts Israel as a Jewish and sovereign state will live here with dignity, equality before the law, and security. There will be one law for everyone – and it will actually be enforced.

Question 27

This sounds too messianic. What about secular people?

Accepted Answer

Returning the country to the people is not a religious program. Our Jewish identity belongs to us all: secular, religious, and traditional alike. This isn’t religious coercion — this is identity-based freedom. Everyone finds their own place through free choice.

Question 28

What about the rest of the world? Won't we face international pressure?

Accepted Answer

The world respects strength, not weakness. Every time we tried to curry favor with the nations of the world, we were hit with boycotts, terrorism, and antisemitism. Every time we projected strength, we earned recognition and appreciation. Israel will be a model for other nations, not an apologetic one.
