The Zehut party ("the Party") respects the privacy of users on this website and operates in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and the regulations thereunder. This policy explains what information is collected through the website, for what purposes, to whom it may be delivered, and how you can exercise your rights in relation to it. Use of the website and submission of details in its forms constitute consent to this policy.
What Information We Collect
When filling out a joining, support, or volunteering form on the website, we collect the details you voluntarily provide: first name and last name, email address, phone number, locality, as well as additional details you choose to fill in (such as areas of interest, languages, or comments). In addition, anonymous technical information about the use of the website is collected (IP address, browser type, and aggregate usage data) for operation and security purposes. Providing the information is not a legal obligation, but without it, we will not be able to process your request.
What the Information is Used For
The information is used to contact you, register you as supporters or party members, integrate volunteers into activities, send regular updates on the party's activities (when you have requested this), and manage the relationship with you. We do not use the information for purposes beyond those for which it was provided.
Legal Basis for Processing
The processing of information is based on your explicit consent, given when submitting your details in the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the details at the bottom of this page. Donor information is also processed by virtue of legal obligations applicable to the party under the Party Financing Law.
Disclosing Information to Third Parties
We do not sell or rent your information. The information provided in the forms is transferred to the party's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to process your request, and may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf who are committed to maintaining confidentiality and data security (such as mailing services, donation clearing, and hosting). In accordance with the Party Financing Law and the State Comptroller's requirement, donor details are transferred to the State Comptroller and included in a database managed by law. Information may also be disclosed if we are required to do so by law or by order of a competent authority.
Retention and Security of Information
The information is retained in the party's databases for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. We take standard security measures — including traffic encryption (HTTPS), access restriction, and technical safeguards — to protect the information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee absolute immunity from intrusion.
Your Rights
Under the Protection of Privacy Law, you are entitled to review the information about you held in the database, request to correct information that is incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated, and request the deletion of the information or your removal from the mailing list. To exercise these rights, or for any question regarding privacy, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page and we will handle your request in accordance with the provisions of the law.
Cookies and Measurement Tools
The website may use cookies and anonymous measurement tools for operation, improving user experience, and analyzing aggregate usage. Statistical measurement tools are activated only after receiving your consent through the consent banner. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, although some website features may not function properly without them.
