Sima Hasson

Sima Hasson is chairwoman of the Mothers' March - Parents of Soldiers Until Victory and the mother of two combat soldiers serving in Golani and the Paratroopers. She founded the organization in 2021 following the death of Staff Sergeant Barel Hadaria Shmueli, of blessed memory, in order to make the voices of soldiers and their families heard, change Israel's combat doctrine, and remove restrictions that endanger IDF soldiers.

Since the outbreak of the Swords of Iron War, Hasson has led extensive public activity calling for the defeat of the enemy, an end to aid that strengthens Hamas, and protection for IDF soldiers both on the battlefield and in the legal arena. She regularly participates in discussions in the Knesset and the Supreme Court, supports soldiers and their families, and works against the persecution of soldiers and the weakening of the fighting spirit.

Hasson has extensive management experience in education, social initiatives and rehabilitation. She previously managed the Israeli Friends of the IDF Disabled Veterans Organization, served for approximately a decade as partnerships director at the AMIT education network, managed the Mother of the Wounded association and Avudi's school of advertising, and led numerous social and public initiatives. Her work combines systemic experience, deep commitment to IDF soldiers, and a belief in the need for determined leadership that will lead the State of Israel to victory.
